I went to the MSU/OSU basketball game last Tuesday. It was billed as probably the biggest home game this year because it was #5 MSU vs #2 OSU. What ended up being notable is that MSU has a 17-point lead in the second half, and let it get away. The game went to overtime, and MSU finally prevailed 72-68.
What was special (for me) was that many members of the football team were in attendance:
At halftime, one of the players (Doug France) led the crowd in his (in)famous "YES!" chant. He first did this after a touchdown at Spartan Stadium when the Spartans beat the weasels from Ann Arbor. It has kinda caught on.

So, we had one last chance to cheer the Rose Bowl Champion football team.
