Some things go well, some don't.

We had two rehearsals for QuizBusters this week. The Monday rehearsal went very well. We had one new camera op, and she did well (for a first time).

Tuesday's rehearsal was a little shaky. The thing is, you can never really tell from rehearsals. Even though you pretend it's the real thing, everyone knows it isn't. Sure, if there is something that looks really snarky, you know there's a problem. We found a couple of things on Monday that needed to get fixed. But (like Tuesday) when things are close, well, likely when the tape is rolling we'll be okay. Rehearsals point out the big problems; not always the small ones.

A distraction during Tuesday's rehearsal was that the Tigers were playing the Twins for the Division title. Very close game. People wanted updates during breaks. As it turned out, the Tigers lost in extra innings, and I was home by the end of the game. Tough loss. Great game.
