and this is one of them.
The day started
off nicely. I went to the
farmer's market first thing. I bought a bunch of apples. Nice.
Then, Tamsyn & I went on a drive on the peninsula. She had a map of barns that have paintings of quilt blocks on them.
Ten barns. It took a couple of hours,
and even though it was supposed to rain...it didn't.
Also nice.
After we got back home, Sarah called. We talked for about a half hour. It was great. She told us about her host family, school, what she eats, her schedule, and a bunch of other things. It was a nice chat. Very, very nice.
Then, I watched the MSU-UofM game. MSU was up at the half. UofM tied it with :02 left in the 4th quarter.
I was not happy. NOT nice.
HOWEVER...the Spartans prevailed in
overtime. Larry Caper ran for a
touchdown that will be remembered
for years to come.
Final: Spartans 26, (stinkin')UofM 20. Really nice.
All's well that ends well. It ended up being a great (nice) day.
