A busy morning

People came to the house this morning.

The garage door guy came first. He fixed both garage doors and didn't charge an arm and a leg.

Then, the sewer pipe guy came, and BAD NEWS found out that he can't fix the sewer pipe from inside the house. That means that we have to remove the tree in front, and dig a hole, and fix the sewer pipe. And then replace the tree.

While they were here, I called Sarah in Oman. I didn't have many minutes on the phone card, so we only talked about 8 minutes. I learned that she doesn't have internet access in her home, so that curtails the communication with us.

Yesterday was Eid, and she said that she had a good time. They exchange presents, have a lot of food, and visit friends. I guess it went well.

She has her own room, and her own bathroom.

School is going fine. They get lectures and occasional afternoons off to go to the market and the beach. They did a trip to Salalah last week.

BTW...I miss my daughter a lot.

So, this morning was busy.
