Interesting weekend.

Saturday was Tamsyn's "alternate birthday", since we wanted to celebrate before Sarah leaves on the 27th.

We left E.L. at 7am on Saturday, and went to Clare

for breakfast at Big Boy. Then, on to Grayling where Tamsyn went to a quilt shop and I hung around the bakery across the street. Next was Gaylord and another quilt shop. I browsed the book store next door.

On to East Jordan, and another quilt shop. It was right across from Lake Charlevoix, but there was no public access nearby, so Sarah and I just sat in the car and talked. We had lunch at Julierette's in Charlevoix. Very expensive and not worth the money. Now we know. The drawbridge was up, so there was traffic going into town, but we went around it and got to the next quilt shop.

After that, we went to TC. After a relatively short stop downtown, Tamsyn & Sarah went to the outlet mall. I took a nap.

Dinner was from Jet's. Birthday cake from Coldstone. We played dominos.

I thought it was a nice day.

We left TC around 11am Sunday.
